Writer, teacher, and now publisher, Stevan Allred has created a lovely ‘zine. A piece of mine is in it.  The launch party is at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27th at St. Johns Booksellers.  Some very cool writers will be reading their work from the ‘zine. I’ll be reading too. Look  here  to find out  how this ‘zine came about and for details on the launch party. Come along and we’ll have some fun.

My Essay in the Sun

A big old envelope came in with the mail tonight. Addressed to me, from The Sun Magazine. Inside: a check, four copies of the March issue, and a nice note from the editor, Sy Safransky. My essay, “You Always Call on a Sunday,” is in it. Of course, I’m happy.

It isn’t out in stores yet, but it will be soon. I’ll be letting you know!
